Drink Coffee - Stay Healthy

We all know what coffee is, but for those that don’t, it is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans.

However, the purpose of this write up is not to define coffee but to clear a lot of doubts
regarding coffee intake.

According to Wikipedia, extensive scientific research has been conducted to examine the relationship between coffee consumption and an array of medical conditions. The consensus in the medical community is that moderate regular coffee drinking in healthy individuals is either essentially benign or mildly beneficial. In 2012, the National Institutes of Health–AARP Diet and Health Study analyzed the relationship between coffee drinking and mortality. They found that the amount of coffee consumed correlated negatively with risk of death, and that those who drank any coffee lived longer than those who did not.

In effect, coffee is actually one of the healthiest beverages but that depends on how much you consume. Two cups of coffee per day, taken morning and night is simply the best way to take your coffee without exposing yourself to any risk.

Excess intake of coffee can be addictive, act as a stimulant and a mood changer. When you take coffee, simply take it straight without additional sweeteners and sugar which when added, simply turns it to a high calorie dessert. Consuming a large amount of coffee at a time may negatively affect ones’ blood sugar levels.

Coffee is a great stress reliever, loaded with antioxidants that helps cleanse and flush the body system as it speeds up metabolism and serves as a natural laxative. It also has other beneficial nutrients that can improve your health. Some studies show that coffee drinkers have a much lower risk of developing several serious diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease among others.

Coffee seems to have a protective effect on the liver. Coffee drinkers have a much lower risk of developing cirrhosis, which can be caused by several diseases that affect the liver. Liver and colorectal cancers are the 3rd and 4th leading causes of cancer death worldwide. Coffee drinkers have a lower risk of both.

A cup of hot coffee before exercising improves your energy level and assists in weight loss.

People who drink coffee are more alert because the caffeine in it keeps the brain alert and receptive of new information. Certain studies have proven that people actually learn more and retain information better after drinking coffee.

Researchers from Lund University in Sweden, in a study, reported that drinking coffee could halve the recurrence of breast cancer for some women, while another study found that drinking up to five cups of coffee daily could reduce the risk of clogged arteries and heart failure.

According to Guardian Newspaper, “A new study published recently in the journal PLOS ONE, states that drinking two or three cups of coffee a day could reduce the risk of Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in men by up to 42 per cent”.

It is believed that the caffeine in coffee helps the muscle tissue in the penis relax, allowing more blood flow to the area thus effecting a rock steady hard on.

Coffee actually has more benefits than disadvantages so go ahead and enjoy your coffee without fear to increase your energy, lose weight, reduce health risks, and LIVE LONGER.
